Durante várias semanas, trabalhámos lado a lado para a criação de uma peça final, apresentada aos residentes de Viana e outros convidados. Mais do que o resultado final, este projeto destacou a importância do percurso criativo, da partilha de conhecimento e da experimentação. O meu papel enquanto artista de multimédia envolveu não só o desenvolvimento conceptual em conjunto com os outros artistas, mas também a criação de dois visuais (Polycam App + TouchDesigner), o uso de body tracking para manipular o som através do movimento (Kinect + TouchDesigner + Ableton) e a transmissão de vídeo em direto por wireless (Telemóvel + NDI + TouchDesigner). Em Pressão: Artist Residency 2024 In October, I took part in Em Pressão 2024, an artistic residency in Viana do Castelo that brought together three artists from different disciplines: Victor Gomes (contemporary dance and performance), Sofia Sá (singing and music), and myself, Bárbara (multimedia). Over several weeks, we collaborated closely to create a final piece, which was presented to the residents of Viana and invited guests. More than just reaching the final outcome, this project celebrated the creative journey, knowledge sharing, and artistic experimentation. As a multimedia artist, my contribution involved not only conceptual development alongside the other artists, but also the creation of two visual installations (Polycam App + TouchDesigner), the use of body tracking technology to manipulate sound through movement (Kinect + TouchDesigner + Ableton), and live wireless video feed (Mobile Phone + NDI + TouchDesigner). Na edição de 2024, em colaboração com Openfield, desenvolvi visuais que interagem em tempo real com o movimento dos corpos que dançam ao ritmo da música do festival. Ao aproximarem-se do ecrã, os corpos modificam-se e sobrepõem-se aos dados da cidade.&nbsp; Performance e visuais interativos desenvolvidos em TouchDesigner. Porto Digital Beat 2024 The Data Visualisation Installation is a project by Openfield Criativelab that makes visible Porto’s urban data, presented at the Festival Elétrico. In the 2024 edition, in collaboration with Openfield, I developed visuals that interact in real time with the movement of bodies dancing to the rhythm of the festival's music. When someone approached the screen their body was translated and visualized in the screen, overlapping thr city's data. Interactive visuals and performance developed in TouchDesigner. Este projeto é desenvolvido com o objetivo de tornar o espetáculo mais imersivo, unindo todos os elementos que constituem o público, o DJ e os visuais. Os visuais apresentam uma narrativa e contam uma história, queremos sensibilizar o público para a situação enfrentada pela Palestina.Durante a performance, os visuais são modificados em tempo real utilizando um comando da Xbox, o que permite uma maior sinestesia entre a música e os visuais, tornando cada espetáculo único. Saya + Bárbara Paixão 2024 Project in collaboration with Saya (DJ), which is still ongoing and undergoing constant transformation and evolution. This project is developed with the aim of making the show more immersive, uniting all the elements that constitute the audience, the DJ, and the visuals. The visuals present a narrative and tell a story, we want to raise awareness among the audience about the situation faced by Palestine. During the performance, the visuals are modified in real time using an Xbox controller, which allows for greater synesthesia between the music and the visuals, making each show unique.
